“Sausage poops” was dubbed lovingly by a friend during graduate school, when I became fascinated by several curious psychoanalytical cases involving excrement, and began making soft sculptures in phallic forms. Sausage Poop Casserole reflects on the relationship between consumption and excretion, desire and violence, as well as cuteness and abjection.
